ALW's soundtrack to the sequel to "Phantom of the Opera" nauseatingly titled "Love Never Dies" has apparently been released on cd.

The question is, do I give it a listen and hope that it's at least worth a laugh or two before I either a) burst into tears or b) start vomiting uncontrollably.

In either case I'm reasonably sure this is one of the signs of the complete downfall of western civilization. Can Mad Max and hatchet wielding mutants be far behind?

I think it might be a watchable musical if you had no interest in/profound affection for the original or for good story telling in general. I actually read "The Phantom in Manhattan"...and that's all I've got to say about that...

I read the first... three pages? of it at some point. Never regretted putting it down.
