I was listening to KFOG on the way into work today and they had a great call in idea. Basically they asked this question, what song or songs do you listen to when you want to put yourself in a good mood? The callers had some truly great ideas but I'd love to hear what the folks on my f-list would choose. Personally I can never go wrong with "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" by the Police. How about you?

Lots and lots of songs. Yesterday it was "Who Got the Hooch?" "Hit" by The Sugarcubes. The Bens live cover of "I Touch Myself". "Back in the USSR." "The Ballad of John and Yoko." Most of Bob Marley's Legend (yeah, a greatest hits album). ELO's "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Mr. Blue Sky." Barenaked Ladies' "Another Postcard."

Also I've noticed I cannot listen to a Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me podcast without it completely elevating my mood.

It just occured to me that The Ballad of John and Yoko was probably in the top ten the day you were born. Your mother was having a Bed-In of her very own, wasn't she? :)
