I'm so tired

Somehow this week has turned into a huge energy drain for me. Not sure why, exactly, I imagine a lot of it has to do with burning myself out last Sunday. I generally try to give myself at least one day per weekend to just crash and vegetate, and I didn't do that. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I think I'm still paying the price for it today.

So, I rather doubt I'll be going to see Spiderman tonight. If I were just driving up the street, yeah I could probably do that. But that wasn't the plan, alas, so I'll be going home and crashing instead. It's sad to have reached a point in my life where sleeping is the best possible option on a Friday night...*sigh*

I really should've invested in some caffeine today.

Sorry, guys, that's about all I can think of to say. Think I'll go back to staring at the computer monitor for a bit.

Sleep is good. Sleep and rest are amazingly pleasant. Lounging in bed is a luxury, especially if you have lovely satin or flannel or silk sheets and a big fluffy down comforter and lots and lots of pillows and a cuddly stuffy.
Choosing rest over hand to hand combat with a cluster of frothing fanboys and the usual collection of mindless teenage zombies at the Homeyplex on an opening night sounds perfectly sane to me.

Mmm, though disappointing, I do generally enjoy going opening night and I really did want to do so with Laurie. Still, warm jammies and an even warmer bed are calling to me...

Mike's entry got me all revved up and planning--I want to hang out with Emily some this weekend, and suggested seeing Spiderman on Sunday afternoon, inviting Kirby along if he's interested. You're also welcome to join us, though for some reason it's niggling in the back of my brain that you're busy on Sunday. The invite is there, all the same! Lots of showings abound:

Mercado (my preferred venue): 1:45, 2:30, 3:15, 4:00, 5:30
Century 16: 2:00, 2:40, 3:30, 4:10, 4:50, 5:30

Much later than this and I won't have time to, uh, rebleach and dye my hair a proper teal.
