Sleep is good. Sleep and rest are amazingly pleasant. Lounging in bed is a luxury, especially if you have lovely satin or flannel or silk sheets and a big fluffy down comforter and lots and lots of pillows and a cuddly stuffy. Choosing rest over hand to hand combat with a cluster of frothing fanboys and the usual collection of mindless teenage zombies at the Homeyplex on an opening night sounds perfectly sane to me.
