Looks like we all missed the national day of prayer and fasting, as it was apparently declared on March 17 http://www.ffrf.org/news/index.php?n=fasting.html.

Isn't March 17th already a Day of Drunken Debauchery and the Eating of Corned Beef and Cabbage? Doesn't that not work well with Prayer and Fasting?

I feel slighted by this piece of anti-Irish legislation. Next thing you know, there will be Polish jokes again.

I'm just totally confused by this entire thing, but it does seem kinda unfair to take over St. Pat's day. I mean when else are we supposed to drink green beer? Though I suppose it wouldn't be considered unpatriotic to wear "Kiss me I'm Irish" buttons...
