Jesus, am I the only one who didn't know that Steve Irwin was dead? Killed by, of all things, a stingray? Woah.

Yeah, it was a complete shock. It also inspired a lot of "stingray awareness" stories on the local news, seeing how we have tons of the critters living around here.
