Ok so I got sucked into trying out the Fantasy Film League, where you cast and produce your own film and see how it does. You start out with $70,000,000 and the casting couch. My line up so far:

I originally had Alan Rickman too, but damn he's pricey these days. And the film I've chosen to produce? Why none other than the movie version of Stephen Colbert's Alpha Squad 7: Lady Nocturne: A Tek Jansen Adventure, because it must be done.

I am way, way too amused by this.

But of course, I'm casting Elijah in the role of the female lead. I see it as an epic scifi space gay drama, I'm just not sure if I'm going to ask him to crossdress for the part. He'd look damn good in one of those 60's style space girl minidresses...

I am totally jealous of JRM and James Spader, superb casting choices, I must say. I'm ridiculously excited to see how my film does, if it takes off I may just have to send it in to Colbert Nation.

I totally would have blown all of my money on Johnny, trust me I ran the numbers...it was a lost cause...besides things might get weird with him and Winona on the same set (she's charging up for a comeback, this movie can save her)! James Spader was a steal, who knew he was so cheap!

Maybe he's cheaper now that he's on tv...and well he has done a few made for SciFi projects, though that didn't seem to hurt Bruce Campbell's numbers. And you're so right about Winona and Johnny, I'm not sure they could keep things professional.

I had 4,000.00 left over so I could have grabbed a few bargain bin or remnant pile actors but alas they only allow you 7 choices. Now this is the kind of "fantasy sport" I can get behind!
