So I just spent about 20 minutes of my life on hold with Bank of America just trying to talk to someone about my car lease. Could they just put this info up on the web somewhere so I could go, check it out at my leisure and not pester their customer service people? Oh no. After 20 minutes of canned messages and muzak I hung up, there's only just so much I can take. I may try again tomorrow if I'm feeling particularly masochistic.

Got an amazing number of chores done this morning which made me feel just slightly less anxious about all the work I need to get done tomorrow. Must go to the store, must clean the bathroom, must mow the lawn, must, must, must. At least the dishes are washed, that's something I suppose.

Now I must try to locate some good directions down to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which is where I'd like to take my sis and neice on Sunday. If anybody has a preferred route from the bay area please let me know. Otherwise I'll be at the mercy of Yahoo maps.

And Frodo is calling to me. He's saying, "My DVD is out, you know, the one with extra footage. But, hey, no rush, I realize you're busy, I mean I'm just carrying the Doom of the World around my neck. You know, heading off to certain death and destruction, and suffering so beautifully all for you, but like I said, take your time. I mean I'm sure there'll be plenty of copies left by the time you get out of work. Really." Gah! Have I mentioned that Hobbits excel at guilt trips?

If I end up a zombie tomorrow because I just had to stay up late watching the DVD I want someone to give me a good boot to the head.

But I'm going to see Signs tonight before I watch LOTR, and I fully expect to be curled up in my theater seat and clutching my sweatshirt fearfully. I also expect to make frightened yelps at all the right places and thoroughly enjoy it (a few bad reviews will not thwart me, dammit!). I've been hoping for a decent psychological horror flick for a long time, and while I doubt it'll live up to my expectations, I think I'm going to enjoy it regardless. It'll also make a nice counterpoint to the drool-fest that will be XXX on Friday.

Mmm...Vin...

1) Gold star for you, hey your first, congratulations!

2) That sounds entirely simple, about how long does it usually take to get down there?

3) Wow that would be incredibly cool if we could use the cards, though if a certain Aelf of my acquaintance wants to use one that would be fine. She and my sis could go ahead in and I'll brave the line with my neice.

I knew yesterday's quote, I just didn't bother posting because I didn't have anything else to comment on and I'm lazy. :)

It is simple to get there. I will see if I am still carrying the cards in my wallet. Boy, I hope so. When you get there, you can always ask at the member desk if you can buy a pair of tickets too. It takes about an hour and 45 minutes, maybe a little less to get down there? I don't usually pay attention to how much time it takes. :)

Becoming an aquarium member is something I've been meaning to do for quite some time, and if I did this, we could all just breeze by in the side entrance, come and go as we please. I'll see if registering online would get me a card or info quick enough to use it for this Sunday, and we can take it from there.

Then I'll have more reason to get down to Monterey more often, and just hang out at the aquarium more, which would be wonderful. Of course, I'll need some weekends for this, but I'll work on that.

If you want to, that'd be cool, and of course should you ever need anyone to go with you on some of those weekends...}:)
