So I ordered something rather expensive with the hope that by having it shipped 2nd day UPS I would be able to track it and sign for it and know it would be safe. Big mistake. After waiting a few extra days after it was supposed to arrive I attempt to find a number to call on the site I ordered from. No luck. Finally I use a default number and talk to a nice man who gives me the correct number. I call and talk to a nice lady who tells me it was already delivered on the 6th. I say, no it wasn't. She checks with UPS, they claim they left it on my door. I say, no they didn't, and that I live in a gated complex and they would've had to call me or the manager to even get in the place. Nice lady transfers me to someone else. Second nice lady tells me the same thing, I tell her the same thing, she puts me on hold. When she comes back I ask why I wasn't required to sign for said package (as is standard UPS procedure), she has no answer, but says she'll ship me another order, expedited. I ask if I can get the tracking info for it, no go until after the order is placed. I will be calling back for the tracking number later today. I am now wondering if stupid UPS person either stuck said package out on top of the mail boxes, or did manage to somehow get into the complex and put said package at the manager's office. As I live next door to the manager, I should think he'd tell me by now.
