Feeling accomplished
Oct. 11th, 2004 09:15 amThings I did this weekend:
1) Piratical gaming completed for this week.
2) New "sexay" costume modified so as not to be indecent when worn.
3) Laundry (yay clean clothes!)
4) Obtained Fahrenheit 9/11 and Aladdin on dvd.
5) Watched latest presidential debate with only minimal yelling at t.v.
6) Saw both Tomb Raider movies back to back...mourned four hours of my life that are gone forever.
7) Was at least somewhat social.
8) Some housework done.
9) Made most kickass banana/chocolate chip bread known to man.
10) Completed coined bra in well under 48 hours. Indeed the coining process took me about 3 hours of concentrated effort. Believe this to be a new world record. In Aelf's words, "Ellie, you are a machine!". So true.
This means I am one project away from being able to put down my sewing needle for a bit. Passing through Michael's on Saturday got me bitten by the crochet bug again so I may be switching over and making myself a nice snuggly boucle blanket of my own. That is if Alyne doesn't come up with another costume idea...
On the other hand I am itching to try out some ideas for the pearl costumes we want to make for next DDF. We'll see just how sick I am of sewing in a few weeks I guess.
