A stitch in time
Oct. 8th, 2004 08:29 amNot much to report, stayed home last night to clean and sew. Sewing is now my life, you see. I expect that by the end of the month I won't be able to feel the tips of my fingers any more. *sigh*
Watching too much G4/TechTV these days and it's straining my willpower. Must..not..buy XMen Legends..until..after..holidays. Yeah I know my PS2 isn't even hooked up at present, but I could fix that real easy. It just looks so cool and you can work up your own teams. And, well, you can play Nightcrawler. Must be strong, must resist!
Looks like plans are firming up for Vegas in mid-November so I'm probably going to be looking for a weekend cat sitter. I also need to get a set of spare keys both for this event and to give to Aelf for when she's staying over. It'd just make life so much simpler.
Speaking of Aelf, she had a great time at class last night and seems to be caught up on the routines and almost ready for the performance on the 23rd. I shake my head in wonder, it took me months to master the whole thing and she's pretty much done it in a week. Damn.
Oh, and for those wondering her hair is indeed the color of a bright new penny, I quite like it.
And whoever is responsible for switching Pye to calm, sleepy, quiet pod-Pye last night, thank you. Seriously, my firstborn is totally yours. Not that I'm having kids, but you know, it's the thought that counts.
