As I have a teeny tiny apartment I'm trying to swear off collectibles because, well, I have no place to put the damn things. As it is my LOTR stuff will undoubtedly remain all boxed up for a good long time. Still, this is so damn tempting:
Replica of Remus Lupin's Wand

And I'd so like a Ravenclaw scarf. But do I need either of these things? No. Absolutely not. *sigh*

Also, love this icon:

Though this one damn near killed me:

Must remember to tape that Daily Show episode tonight...if I can find a blank tape that is.

Must also remember not to obsess over malfunctioning cable modem and go to class tonight. I've been so slack on dancing and it's showing horribly. If I can also get a good deal of boxes emptied and removed from the front of the living room I can start dancing in the new place as well. Given how full the remainder of this week and weekend are, I don't see that as terribly likely.

I did discover, though, that the two extra shelves that don't fit Aelf's bookcases do fit mine. Yes, they will look rather retarded on my white, tilty bookcase, but as long as they'll hold stuff I don't really give a damn. Now to find those little peg things, which, it turns out are the "L" shaped ones after all.

And for some reason the cats have decided to make very noisy use of their litterboxes in the wee hours of the morning and then dump half the litter on the kitchen floor for me to walk through. I need a broom and dustpan big time. Additionally they've switched food bowls for no reason that I can glean.

Failed my "call technical support at Comcast" roll last night in order to talk to an old friend I haven't heard from in ages. It was lovely to get to chat and catch up while I puttered around the house. And it kept me from hurling the cable modem against the nearest wall. :(
