He'd do all three, in precisely that order
Jul. 1st, 2004 08:23 amThe above comes from a little ficlet I stumbled upon last night titled "Hogwarts Puny Love Love" that damn near broke me. Snape gets his hands on a Japanese handheld choose-your-own-adventure videogame that seems to be reading his mind. If anyone's in need of a good laugh I'll post the URL.
Ah, and a little LOTR goodness to make you giggle as well:
Return of the Queen
(be sure to scroll all the way down)
It's been feeling good to once again don the mantle of Goddess of Fanfic Encouragement, it's been far too long. Tuesday night I managed to finish reading a WIP Snape story titled "Summon the Lambs to Slaughter" that is so damn good I actually whimpered by the end of the last chapter. Being the kind of gal for whom waiting patiently is damn near impossible, I dropped the author an email and got word that she expected to update some more this weekend. Now to make sure I don't spend that time entirely devoted to reading the next bit. I really must get some other stuff done.
Speaking of which, Aelf and I plan to move our cars out of the garage this weekend and start filling it with yardsale items. We've got a lot of stuff to get rid of including a lot of furniture and small shelving units. If you are in need of such things and you're reading this, you're more than welcome to come over on Sunday and take a look and lay claim to something if you want it. Any of my shelving units are free to those who can cart them off. There's only one that's fairly large, the rest could easily fit in my Bug so if you've got a car you should be golden. Tack a comment on here if you're interested.
So last night I signed the paperwork and I'm now officially a renter. I'm having a slight panic attack about the size of the place (tiny) and how Pye's going to adapt (not well I'm guessing). It's only a one year lease so hopefully he can survive that long, and after that I look for someplace larger. I do really like the complex and the managers so that's a plus. I don't seem to have any noisy upstairs neighbors, but then again I've only been there for an hour or so...
I'm currently thinking about going with Comcast for cable/phone/internet connection. If anybody has any experience with this combo and advice lemme know. It'd be awfully nice, though, to have only one utility bill to deal with each month.
