Bitches, come!
Aug. 12th, 2002 08:46 amSo, um, anybody wanting to see XXX please count me in. Gods, that man can make thermal underwear look sexy. If I hadn't been so exhausted by the time I got home I would've needed a cold shower. *sigh*
Weekend, right, lessee, had a glorious time Friday night watching XXX with the gang and sharing lusty sighs and chocolate, then later mozzarella sticks at Applebee's }:) Saturday was time with the family, mostly talking to my sis and getting reacquainted with my neice and brother-in-law. We lazed around the house then got dressed and headed to Menara where a lovely evening of good food and amazing dancers was enjoyed.
princessmei and I fell madly in lust with one of the gals who moved in ways I'm quite sure are illegal in certain countries. Ye gods I wanted to wrap her up and take her home. I'd happily chain her to the other side of the bed from Vin. When I become ultimate ruler of the world I believe I will.
I think the fam appreciated the atmosphere and dancing but were too tired to really get into it. Still, I'm glad I dragged them there, and very happy to see everyone who showed up for the performance! I then took them home and put everyone to bed before passing out myself. My neice (who's 6) insisted on staying in my room with me. It's very gratifying to be hero worshipped by your neice, I highly recommend favorite aunt status, I really do *G*
Yesterday we packed up and headed for Monterey with
aelfsciene so she could run around the aquarium and show us everything. My neice felt a bit ill and had to be consoled by her mom for a bit, but by the end of the trip she was really getting into it and enjoying herself. I also got some very cute photos of her and the housemate to add to the collection (I'll post them this week). Aelf did some power shopping thanks to the evil that is my sister (Hey, what can I say? It runs in the family) and came back with more jellyfish to add to the collection. I couldn't resist purchasing a penguin backpack for Tierney, who had fallen madly in love with the penguins there.
We then hit the beach for a bit and Tierney built a sand castle/cat which Aelf and my sis helped to decorate. I dubbed it "Castle Kage #1", an ephemeral piece now documented for historical purposes. Covered in sand and exhausted we dragged ourselves back to the car and hit the freeway only to discover traffic was backed up as far as the eye could see. Of course we'd already agreed to meet
jakejr for dinner in Milpitas and were cutting it close as it was. Fortunately, though, the gods smiled upon us and we only ended up being about 20-25 minutes late. Considering the traffic around here that's really not so bad. We had a lovely dinner with her and the conversation at the dinner table was quite lively and fun. We hated to call it a night, but we all had early mornings ahead of us and were dragging by about 8:30.
So, all in all, a weekend I won't soon forget and have enjoyed immensely. I get two more days (or evenings, really) with the family before they head back to upstate NY, which is all too short a time (as per usual).
And now I need sugar and caffeine as I attempt to stay awake long enough to perform my duties this morning. Work bad. Sleep good.
Crunches: I'll get back to them after the family leaves.
Exhausting but fulfilling weekends: 1
