So in approximately 3 1/2 hours Aelf and I should know whether or not we get the house we so desperately want. I'm a bit nervous and filled with questions I'd need to ask before we got entirely underway, but also excited. My only concern is the whole moving timeframe thing. I want to strike while the iron is hot but I also don't want to make life too inconvenient for my current roommate. Hopefully a happy compromise can be reached. I figure if I have to wait until the last week of July to get my big stuff moved over to the new address, so be it, I'll cope.
I'm also stressing about money. Not to the point where I'm ready to back away from this, mind you, but knowing that it will mean leaner times ahead is distressing. I know I survived on a lot less when I first moved out here, and I just need to get back into that mindset. Stop eating out several times a week, stop splurging on things I don't really need, and definitely stop having belly dance costume "accidents".
Of course with a house comes a plethora of new expenses, gardening tools and supplies, furniture, etc. And with this too comes the certainty that my trip home in August is almost surely going to be cancelled. This makes me very sad indeed, but I'm going to have to be viciously pragmatic for the remainder of the year and that's all there is to it.

Also, there's a very large used wooden table I would love to banish from the library (great for a craft table) if you really do have that extra family room... :)

Thankfully we've got well over a month to complete this move so there's no pressure and we can kind of relax and get whatever help folks can over it when it's convenient for them. This is my kind of move!
