Please, someone talk me out of buying a rowing machine. Tell me I don't need it, don't have space for it, would have to lug it to wherever I move and should be saving my money for other things...like, oh moving or something.

Reassure me that I can get one after the move and that I can do plenty of other exercises in the meantime. Try to make it sound convincing if you can. Thanks.

Thanks for the support <G>

BTW, checked that house in MV last night, it was a complete hole, am beginning to think a rental service might be in order...

Yeah, I saw that earlier, and was kind of alarmed--I'd planned to buzz by tonight, but I won't bother, now. Were there any worth checking into this weekend, from the listings you found?
I mean, I'd love to get a concrete start on it, but probably the best way to do it is rental service. I just hope they're as good with house listings as apartments.

Bay Area rentals seemed ok, but we should probably talk to Megs about the service she used. I've sent out a couple of emails, but no responses yet, and the places I'd called were already rented out. I suppose we should pick up a copy of the classifieds this weekend and take a look and make some calls. I'm not seeing much of anything on Craigslist.
