What the fuck is wrong with these assholes?

Bad-boy radio hosts Opie and Anthony yesterday topped even their infamous 2002 "Sex in St. Pat's" stunt, serving up a homeless man's profane declaration that he'd like to rape Condoleezza Rice, Laura Bush and Queen Elizabeth.

The graphic sequence on their XM Satellite Radio program showed that even in a medium with no restrictions on content, Opie and Anthony found a way to cross the line.

The actual comments were made by a guest the shock jocks call Homeless Charlie. As each woman's name came up, he said, "I'd love to f--- that b----."

They laughed as they imagined "the horror" in Rice's face and what it would be like to hold her down and punch her in the face....

The audio and transcript are available here along with one of the most poignant and honest responses I've read so far from an actual victim of rape. The actual dialogue was even worse than what was quoted in the paper:

One of their guests, a man called Homeless Charlie, says, “I’ll tell you what—what’s that George Bush bitch, um, Rice…? Condoleezza Rice? … I’d love to fuck that bitch dead, man,” at which point the rest of the studio erupts into laughter.

And did the shock jocks try to stop this clearly insane tirade? Nope, they encouraged the psycho to keep going. Now maybe I'm just a humorless feminist but this strikes me as the kind of sick shit that should get you thrown off of any radio station in any civilized country.

Update: Want to let the employers of these two assholes know what you think of their little stunt? You can find out how here.

via Pandagon:

Reader Kim wrote me about this horrorshow, where two men pleaded guilty Monday to one count of aggravated assault — for shoving broomsticks and flashlights up the rectums of 18 young boys last year, according to the AP.

A little detail - one of these creatures, Clifton Bennett, is the son of Arizona’s Senate president.

The kicker is this quote from the article:

Yavapai County prosecutor James Landis said his office never considered the “broomings” as sexual in nature. Rather, he described what happened as a form of punishment or discipline.

He has said his office could not prove Bennett and Wheeler had any sexual intent.

He said the case likely would have been treated differently if the victims were girls or if there was evidence that the defendants were homosexual.

As randomliberal comments:

Good to know that it’s now sexual orientation that determines whether or not forced penetration is rape…

And speaking of rape, you just have to check this out:

Guilty 'Til Proven Innocent
By David Yeagley

It’s racism at Duke, all right. Racism against white students. Members of the Duke University Lacrosse team may have abused a black party girl, but, without any proof or trial, the Duke Lacrosse team was punished by the university, suspended from further games.

Brad R. responds:

To sum up: the lacrosse team hires exotic dancers for a party. Three team members allegedly rape one of the dancers. The cops find her allegations credible enough to open an investigation, and the whole case becomes a national incident. Now imagine you're Duke's administration. Would you honestly allow your lacrosse team to continue playing when three of its members are under investigation for rape? Really, David. Fucking think about it.

Oh but David has so much more to offer:

Two weeks later, the team was suspended from games. The team captains say that the DNA testing will prove that all the members are innocent. This, of course, if true, will mean that it was either an easy set up for the women, or else the fervor of youthful hormones blinded everyone. In the heat of passion, well-ignited before the girls even showed up, there may have been some rough-housing. That should have been a serious tip-off. Of course, a 27-year-old mother of two certainly must have more sense than a drunken 19-year-old, no? However, our nameless victim showed less maturity than a six-year-old.

All the racial issues in this story are moot. This is a tale of stupidity on the part of two women, particularly the black woman.

If you're in need of an emetic I recommend reading the rest, or just check out the comments, here's a sample:

These "ho's" are just looking for a free check from these rich whitey's....that's all there is to it. Race has nothing to do with it (although blacks do look favorably on suing somebody as a means to add to their net income more than the rest of us). I wonder when the press will concentrate on the tens of thousands of rapes blacks commit on whites?

And hey, while we're on the subject of "ho's", did you catch Rush Limbaugh's take on the Duke incident?

From the March 31 edition of The Rush Limbaugh Show:

CALLER 1: Why is it, do you think, that you haven't heard hardly anything from Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton about the whole immigration thing? I mean, the silence is deafening from --

LIMBAUGH: Well, they're busy.

CALLER 1: -- the NAACP [National Association for the Advancement of Colored People] and the --

LIMBAUGH: They're -- they're busy. They're busy. The Reverend Jackson is in New Orleans. He's leading a big march there tomorrow. The march is -- what is it called? The -- the march for the right to return a protected vote and reconstruction. He's trying to -- they got problems down in New Orleans. They don't have voter base, and Sharpton's working on a New Orleans deal, too. He's trying to figure out how he can get involved in the deal down there at Duke where the lacrosse team --

CALLER 1: Yeah.

LIMBAUGH: -- uh, supposedly, you know, raped, some, uh, hos.

She Wanted It

The victim of the vicious, videotaped Orange County rapes made her statement to the judge during the rapists’ sentencing.

He proceeded to tell me a videotape was given to the police that unveiled myself being brutally gang-raped by three men, the three men that I gave all my trust to and thought were my friends.

[...]

The harassment and torture started immediately after the assault became known to the public. It started with private investigators sitting in front of our house day in and day out, watching our every move. Our family’s privacy was completely eliminated. The private investigators got worse when they began watching my parents at their places of work. One day I was driving home and a private investigator began following me. I panicked. I did not know what to do. I called my mom on her cell phone for help. All she could do was tell me to drive to the police station and try to calm down. In the parking of the police station the private investigator cornered me and began taking pictures of me…..

The next big event was when fliers were placed in all the mailboxes, local stores of my neighborhood. They asked for anyone with information on the Newport Beach assault that occurred on or about July Fourth to call a number. That flier said my last name. My family never sent out the fliers like they portrayed. It was the families of these three men. Now my entire neighborhood knew I was Jane Doe, the 16-year-old girl that was gang-raped…..

After everyone in my neighborhood found out my identity, my family and I thought it was best for me to transfer to a new high school and start off fresh where no one knew who I was. I was in such fear of the new kids in my new school finding out who I was. I registered at my new high school under a different name. These men had not only taken my life, but now they had taken my identity and who I was. The first few weeks of my junior year went as planned. No one knew about my past, but that quickly changed when people hired by these men came to my school and stood in the parking lot screaming out my real name as I was walking with my friends. I was stopped by a man who served me papers right in front of my new friends. Then he proceeded to tell them who I was. I wanted to curl up and die. So much for no one knowing.

But if you think that's bad, just read what the defense had to say:

“The things she wanted done were done,” said John Barnett, counsel for Nachreiner. “It’s disgusting and it’s awful. Who would consent to this? Jane Doe. Nobody is going to argue this isn’t morally outrageous. It is, but it was a choice. . . . This is exactly what she wanted. They believed her when she says she wanted to be a porn star.”

The videotape details behind the cut because they are quite explicit and deeply disturbing. )
I'm afraid I can't think of a punishment that could begin to equal what they did to this young girl. And six year prison sentences don't even begin to come close.
