I am convinced that it is possible for someone to make a worse hash of the classic tale, The Three Musketeers than the current film that just came out but I'm having a hard time imagining how. I mean I have to believe it's possible because otherwise the two hours I spent in that theater are going to seem like the most wasted of my life. I also have to tell myself that the airship battle (yes, you read that correctly) sequence was a direct geeky homage to Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, because then I can find it almost charming instead of just pathetic.

On the plus side at least I didn't pay for it :)

I was all hopeful about it until I saw a movie reviewer on TV discuss the film and give it her first/only F of the entire year. The way she described it made me think I'd be better off amusing myself by mowing my lawn with a pair of scissors.

It may be two-ish hours you'll never get back, but at least you were with good company, right?

It's true I was in good company so I can't complain much but man was it frustrating to see such a waste of time and effort of so many people up on a big screen.
