Ok another massive info dump while I wait for the new episode of Last Exile "The Silver Wing" to load. I have been assured that despite my history as a character black widow the effervescent Lord Dio has inexplicably survived, so yay! In addition the evil dead rat has been removed from beneath my bathroom so I once again have access to the master bath, also yay. And finally the performance I've been practicing for is over and it went well so I feel like I've got a little time in my life again, final yay!

Also started watching The Big Bang Theory (yeah, I know, I either get into things before everyone else or years later) and am a little frightened by how much I find myself agreeing with/identifying with Sheldon. On the plus side I do recognize it's something to be mildly alarmed about rather than just taking pride in it so there's that. I mean that's something, right?

I have been sucked at least mildly into Mass Effect as well and I'll admit to having crushes on both my Commander Shepard (the dazzling blonde bad-ass of the Normandy) and the snarky ship's pilot Joker. Of course as it's a shooter as well as an RPG I'm kind of wishing I could just handwave the combat and get down to the fun conversations and possible relationships. Yeah I know, in most games I want just the opposite, big explosions, plenty of action, you name it. Not this time. Hmm, perhaps some cheat codes are in order...

At least it was just an evil dead rat and not an Evil Dead rat.

Like I'd be dumb enough to read the Necronimcon Ex Mortis aloud. C'mon. At least not in my own home :)

I love big bang theory, overall it's held up well.

The plots are pretty formulaic but the jokes are definitely fun.

It gets better, honest. You probably missed my swearing a lot when I first started playing ME, but I did. And I found playing with the Xbox controller way easier than the mouse.

If nothing else, you know I'll be willing to continue playing for you. :)

I'll be curious to see if you can get the cheat codes to work; I didn't know there were for Xbox versions of the game!

Oh there are always cheat codes, my friend :) And I may enjoy the game more having you do all the hard stuff so expect to get the puppy eyes from time to time :D

If you're playing it on the PC, I can certainly get you thorough the tricky combats. I just took down my first thresher maw with the new character and only died once. And I don't use the Mako, because it gimps the experience award.

Xbox 360 I'm afraid, though I did find the cheat codes last night :D
