Had some time to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 tonight and after kicking serious Latverian ass, and then Latverian pissed off cyborg ass, I got to free Senator Stan Lee (yes, voiced by the man himself, it was awesome) and then...the divorce. Oh man, it was almost as bad as the Charles/Erik break-up. And Steve and Tony broke up in his limo. I couldn't help thinking that it's kind of nice that even the most powerful superheroes have had at least one ugly relationship meltdown in a car. We've all had at least one of those talks in our life.

I saved the game after the Registration Act got passed because I was about to have to choose sides and I'm in a quandry. Obviously as a flaming liberal I'm all about fighting The Man and so I naturally want to fight with Cap. Also he's going to have an awesome posse (if I could unlock and download Magneto, even more awesome). If I pick Tony, which is my gaming inclination (hey, he got me through the first game in style), I'll be happy 'cause I know all his gadgets and powers and...well, it's Tony. His game smack-talk is fantastic and again, let me emphasize, Tony Edward Stark. But on the downside it means teaming up with the Fantastic Four and OMG I loathe them.

So I'm torn...

Well I will play it through with both, but I can only do one at a time. I'm going through with the Anti-Registration force first so it's Cap and the team. On the plus side most of the X-Men and more interesting mutants are on our team so that's something.
