Just wanted to post a quick congrats to [livejournal.com profile] moonlightnrain and [livejournal.com profile] lizzzie_lou on their upcoming wedding. Their shower yesterday was quite lovely, a yummy tea party with many gifts and lovely cards. To say that the couple will be well prepared for a tea-pocalypse is putting it mildly. Everyone was incredibly sweet, it was very nice to meet Liz's family and friends and to just have a chance to chat.

As I'd spent the earlier part of the day house hunting with [livejournal.com profile] tersa (which, I should add, is way less stressful and more enjoyable when someone else is thinking of spending the money on a place *G*) and [livejournal.com profile] windrose, I opted to head home and do some tidying. I also needed to empty out the bathrooms as tomorrow my painter is coming to finally rid me of the wretched pink bathroom. While he's here he's going to get rid of the yellow in the master bathroom as well. Soon I'll have one blue bathroom and one sage green one. Yay! [livejournal.com profile] aelfsciene is going to stay here at the house for me while I run off to work. Can't stay home tomorrow as I've got two big meetings, one with my team and another (at 6:30 pm, ugh) with India.

Today was mostly spent doing some editing and bumming around which the cats thoroughly enjoyed. Indeed I got up at 6:30 this morning to feed the cats then went back to bed as I don't get up that early on a Sunday unless I'm on a roadtrip. Anyway I woke up at 10:30 completely immobilized by cats. Seriously, couldn't even move I was so weighed down with cats. Only Lola couldn't seem to find a place to settle in and she woke me up with big startled eyes and a plaintiff mew. Trying to get out from under the remaining 3 was...challenging. Suffice to say I'm really glad I started doing yoga again :)

I will never forget the look of horror on your face when you wandered out to the garden and saw all the Sarah Palin masks on the tables. Thanks so much for attending!

I'm hoping to get my package in the mail from Dickies this week. When might you have some free time to talk me through the rough spots of the sewing tutorial I found?

I have zero plans on Thursday evening and throughout the weekend. You tell me what works best for you and I'm all yours.

I think Thursday is free. The pants and jacket arrived in the mail today.

Now I have to decide what color panels I want to put in.... Green like Chuck? Blue like Rodney? Yellow because I work in a hospital? I can't decide!

Tough one, but if you really want the jacket to suit you I'd say your colors are definitely either blue or green. You could leave it up to fate, take pics of both and whichever you can get closest to at the local fabric store is your winner :)

FYI, I sent that reply on Monday, but for some reason it didn't go through until I opened my computer up late last night....
