You know I just saw a commercial for Iron Man 2 and the song, which I don't even like, made me want to see it again even before we got to the scene where Tony pulls out the briefcase armor (which is absurdly illogical but awesome). I think I may be going back on Sunday, though it's a toss up whether I'm going for Tony in the wife beater or Natalie in any number of costumes. I think it's nice that I can completely own up to just how pathetically superficial I can be sometimes.

Speaking of which, I mentioned to Aelf the other night that the big thing I'm going to miss about one of our Italian copywriters who's leaving tomorrow is that she always says goodbye to me in the following manner, "Ciao, bella." Yes, quite egotistical too it would seem.

And I've just noticed I'm weirdly obsessed with this Kaiser Permanente ad showing a woman bent over, hands on the floor and forehead pressed to her straight legs. God I want to be able to do that...

Fortunately, no! :) The 80's double is in two weekends, Memorial Day.

Also, the Sharks schedule came out and we're guaranteed a noon PDT start in Chicago for Game 4 on whichever day it winds up being, and I'll know after tonight which day it is. :)

I keep wondering what the exact tradeoffs are to make it fit in the briefcase config - probably no flight, just limited repulsor-jumping maybe? Probably only a few shots off the repulsors, very little chest beam, none of the slick shoulder miniguns or the laser thing or...

See, I worry about stuff like this. Does that make me some kind of paste-eater?

(I also can't wait for the deleted scenes on the DVD when Happy's trying to confess to Pepper that he's always loved her...right as she's fishing for the briefcase key in his pocket. "This was probably a bad time to mention that.")

Only if it makes me one for wondering where in the hell all the mass of the armor and hydraulics goes to such that someone like Pepper can actually lift the thing. I mean it stood up to Russian guy's energy whips so it wasn't just the "show suit", you know? At least they don't have it emerging from his bones...yet *shudder*.

The craving hit me today for the first time, but it hit me hard just like the last movie did: I'll be at work in the late afternoon with a palatable craving to see the movie again, right that moment. *sigh* The upside of this? I finally plotted out the ending of our fic. Now to flesh it out... er, so to speak. ;)
