Date: 2010-03-22 02:29 am (UTC)However, they have one problem: the DC political media is not smart enough to understand things like policy and content. All they understand is the horse race - and since the bill passed, that must mean Obama won, which is the headline.
(I really hope I'm wrong about this, but I think it's going to take an Oklahoma City-type event or something similar before people start taking the tea-baggers seriously as unhinged extremists rather than the "colorful" voice of "Real America." There's enough incendiary rhetoric out there that somebody's going to act on it eventually.)
