First I've gotta' say that 'Viral-pocalypse' just doesn't interest me quite as much as a 'Zombie-pocalypse' does in general but the show's not bad. First episode included two very cool things, one a Radiohead song and two the actress who played Martha Jones contracting said death virus and dying. In addition the actress who plays Mina on the dreadful "Demons" is one of the lead characters and actually isn't bad.

The show is an almost equal balance of moments that had me saying, "Hey that's smart" and "Oh Jesus would you stop being so stupid!" I especially liked the folks who hunkered down in a grocery warehouse, I've often thought with a little extra defense that would be a great place to ride out a Zombie-pocalypse.

I am embarrassed to admit it took me several episodes to stop wondering why only two characters actually had firearms (both were criminals). Yeah, I know, but I'm sick cut me some slack.

Interesting show overall but I can't say I'm hooked on it.

Learned something new about Hachi today, apparently not only is she weirdly capable of moving objects from one section of her room to another (today I opened her door to find the water and food that I'd placed on a plastic bag on one side of the room had been dragged right up to the door - why? No one can say), but she's apparently also a kleptomaniac. I laid out some necklaces and jewelry and when I glanced down she'd run off with one in her mouth. I found it and a variety of other objects stashed under the sofa bed in her room. Apparently she's been collecting for a while now.

It suddenly becomes clear to me why she and Pye get along so well, they practically are long lost siblings. Utterly, utterly broken the pair of them.

Also how much did I love stumbling over a DirecTV exclusive Radiohead studio concert? Uh, a lot, actually.

remember that the brits aren't *quite* as gun mad as us yanks so your average citizen is not as likely to be packing heat.

yeah, I was happy to see "Martha" in the first ep...

I still hope that they'll bring back Jenny :D

Yeah it took me two eps to realize that they couldn't just drive down to the local Walmart and grab some guns but, again, I'm chalking it up to illness-related stupidity.

"Survivors" and it's on BBCA right now so should be online as well. It's not bad though quite depressing.

Is this a remake of Terry "We're All DOOOMED!!!" Nation's 1970's series "Surivors"?

Yep as I understand it it's a remake, but again, first ep was totally worth it to watch "Martha" die ;)
