I'm not going to talk politics today. You know why? Because as soon as I turned on NPR this morning I heard Joe Fucking Lieberman being interviewed then I heard about the MA election results. On the way home I gave NPR another chance when who do I hear? David Fucking Frum. All I can say right now is fuck NPR, fuck the Democratic party and fuck American politics.

Right, but I'm not going to talk about that.

Instead I'm going to say yay for a bunch of sleepy, getting-along kitties and yay for Leverage being back on the air! Also...7 of 9 is now on the team? I thought Gina was pregnant last season and damn if I wasn't right. I look forward to her return after her maternity leave. Much as I like Jeri Ryan and am glad she's got a job, I much prefer Gina :)

Lieberman - to the curb. Reid - defenestrated. Find a Senate leader who will show some sack, then blow up the goddamn filibuster once and for all. And stop having to make everything pivot around Nebraska or Arkansas or Evan "Oh No The Liberals Put Sand In My Hoo Hah" Bayh.

The Democrats have a 78 seat majority in the House and 18 in the Senate (Holy Joe doesn't count). Why in the fucking fuck are we playing DEFENSE??

Yay for getting along kitties!!!!

As for the politics... I've been getting disillusioned with the Dems for months. They completely wasted a majority on pussyfooting around the repubs and what did it get them? It got us effed out of healthcare reform.

On a side note, Nora got her presents today and I must say she loves them! The Ariel book is a big hit and she is very intrigued by the potty book... now if only she would get intrigued by the real potty we will be making progress!!!
