I'm a rooster illusion!

Thanks to 3 free months of HBO and Showtime I finally got to see "Tropic Thunder" and it is hilarious, my only regret is not seeing it sooner. If you've ever seen Apocalypse Now, The Deer Hunter, Full Metal Jacket, Born on the Fourth of July, etc. you will be howling. It's an amazing parody, but beyond that the Hollywood insider jokes, the celebrity silliness, RDJ playing an Australian actor playing a black Vietnam soldier, or Tom Cruise in quite possibly the best guest appearance ever. Seriously, stick around for the credits if for no other reason than watching Cruise dance around to Ludacris.
Totally worth it.
Hell even Jack Black was funny as a drug-addled low brow comedian. If you haven't seen it, rent it, you won't regret it.
And now I think I'm going to go melt for a bit. Ye gods it's hot and Vikashni put us through our paces and then some at class tonight....
Oh hey, am I the only one who hadn't heard about the remake of The Wolfman? It looks reasonably good, and I like that they cast the Larry Talbot and dad Talbot roles physically similar to the original.
