For all the locals, there's something called the "Best of the East Bay Party" next Friday evening. Aelf and I are planning to go 'cause our current and former dance teachers will be performing from 8:15-9:15, but check out all the other stuff that's happening:

August 7, 5 p.m.-midnight, Oakland Museum of California, 1000 Oak Street, Oakland. All ages, free admission

Hm. I live in Oakland and like it, and it turns out the bus that stops 100 feet from my house goes directly to the Oakland Museum. So! I believe I shall come! Pinball, ebonlock, and aelf.

Man, your description of the wrestler on Saturday did not do him justice. Ha ha ha. Liz would love to see the dancing, I'm sure, but I wouldn't place any bets on us making it to the event.
