First and foremost a big thank you to everyone for the gifts and donations I received this year. I feel incredibly lucky to have such generous friends and family. I've managed to find homes for everything and get most of the wonderful mixes I received ripped already, so go me! Also cleaned the apartment from top to bottom, which it's needed for a very long time. I think giving moonlightnrain a hand cleaning out her old apartment gave me the inspiration to actually buckle down and do my own place. Well that and the fact that I'd gotten all the gifts out of the living room and I really wanted to clean it up as well. It looks so much...bigger now :)

Many, many thanks to tersa and cyranocyrano for hosting Xmas day festivities yesterday. We had an amazing meal, delicious snacks and unbelievable dessert. But the best part was getting to spend time together and not spending another Xmas day alone.

And on a totally unrelated note, many thanks to my pal J- for pointing me at the trailer for the new Tim Burton flick "9". It looks stunning, and doesn't hurt that one of the stars is Elijah Wood. No, it really doesn't. Check it out if you haven't seen it yet!

Speaking of thanks, thank you for the awesome gifts! I _love_ the katana-wielding Geisha pendant, and we will be listening to your mix cd on a long car trip we're taking tomorrow. It was great to see you at the party; sorry that with my hostess duties I couldn't chat more.

Jumping on the bandwagon here to say that I just ripped the mix you gave Liz because it is so awesome it needs to go onto my iPod NOW. It sucks that I managed to bust my car radio on Xmas day though, so I can't listen to your mixes while driving quite yet.... *sigh*

You busted your car radio? :( Sorry to hear that, but very glad you liked the mix. As I said I think that one turned out to be my favorite of the bunch, certainly the one I go back and listen to the most often :)
