Ok so I just started watching the BBC Merlin series and here's what I can tell you so far:

1. Merlin = hottie

2. Bears no resemblance to the original story, but I'm surprisingly ok with that.

3. Not as silly as the Robin Hood series they recently did, very ok with that.

4. elo_sf you really need to watch this show, Merlin/Arthur is HOT.

5. Morgana is already my favorite character.

6. Tony Head as Utha Pendragon...'nuff said.

7. John Hurt is playing a goddamn dragon. Hell yeah.

8. Lady Helen (played by the actress who is Gwenn on Torchwood!) wears this gorgeous purple gown when she enters Camelot.

9. Ok, I may be changing my mind as Guinevere just showed up and the adorable is off the scale.

10. The question is which slash do I want more of on the series, Merlin/Arthur or Morgana/Guinevere. It is a decidedly tough call.

11. One word, "manservant". I, uh, may have to go find some fic now...

Yay for TV shows that do not suck. That reminds me, we need to call Comcast and find out why we aren't getting all the channels that were promised us....

We have X-mas Eve and X-mas morning plans. I think I'm free X-mas afternoon, but having dinner at the H-S household that night.
