First I must share with you the incredibly talented [livejournal.com profile] wyomingnot's latest fanvid. This is an absolutely adorable SGA one, and the pigeon line in this one nearly killed me. Just brilliant!

Also I have decided that beating my head against the wall that Heroes has become this season is no longer in my best interest. Last night's ep was enough, just...enough. If anyone can give me one strong reason to stick around I'll at least consider it, but I very much doubt my f-list is all that much more enthusiastic about the season. *sigh*

Did like the last ep of SGA well enough, mostly for the last 5 minutes which I really hadn't picked up on. Oh and the fact that Woolsey seems to have seen Xanadu at a very impressionable age. I'll say no more.

And tonight there is House which I sincerely hope is better than last week's which was decidedly "Eh."

I actually turned to [livejournal.com profile] moonlightnrain and said, "Oh this is so totally a dream." like 5 minutes in. Just didn't catch the Zelenka swerve which amused me. And I loved Wilson's rather subtle form of torture in this one, it was so perfect. Oh and the scene between House and the girl, I quite liked that too. Also that he made Foreman solve his own case, it's great to see him actually taking off as his own doctor rather than staying strictly in House's shadow. Ooh and the Chase/Cameron stuff was fun too :)

Too funny, the Zelenka thing was one of the biggest red flags for me. *g* The biggest, of course, was Kolya. I mean, I know why they picked him, but at the same time, it was also the biggest giveaway in the entire episode.

As for House ... I found the stuff with the girl kind of blah and predictable, but loved the Foreman subplot. Again, it was predictable--I knew where it was headed as soon as Foreman made the mistake of asking House if he could do the clinical trial rather than simply telling House he was going to do it--but at the same time, I loved the way House handled the situation. House knew that Foreman could handle it, but Foreman needed to prove it to himself. And the discussion with Wilson about it at the end made me think of parents discussing a favorite child who was finally starting to live up to his potential.
