Gawd, I'd forgotten just how deeply and profoundly 80's "Return of the Living Dead" was. Seriously, it's synthesizer heaven. It is also the perfect concept for a zombie LARP. I would so totally play that, either as the preppie girl who continually whines, "I don't think we should go in there" or the crazy punk chick who thinks death is really cool, "Do you ever fantasize about dying?". It is so gloriously predictable and one dimensional...I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it :)

Still processing tonight's new House. The overall medical mystery plot was kind of lame and House was more of an ass than usual (and those levels are already quite high), wasn't all that interested in the Cuddy subplot...but those last few minutes were...huh. Overall it wasn't as good as the last two eps, which is perhaps for the best since my DVD-R suddenly stopped recording partway through the episode. Fortunately they usually replay them Friday nights at 11.

In other news I am full of fail when it comes to finding my favorite pumpkin carving tools so I guess I'm going with ye olde box cutter :( This brings the number of things I seem to have lost in the last 6 months up to 3. Is this a sign of premature Alzheimer's? It would certainly explain a lot...

pff, the last few minutes made me a freakin basket case all evening. i was just useless at dinner. what the hell, man? that couldn't have seemed more lackluster if they were siblings. and then the preview for next week episode?

i'm still holding out that it was some creative editing, and Wilson's actually talking about his feelings with House...

As I'm interpreting this House is just being massively territorial and I think Wilson nailed it when he said, "You're just upset that she's moving on to high school and you're stuck repeating the 8th grade." I did love House's immediate reaction afterwards, though, you could almost hear his internal voice screaming, "Run away!"

I'm not buying Wilson being into Cuddy, maybe he just said it to see how she'd react. At the very least he still ought to be in mourning for Amber so I can't really see him pouncing on Cuddy this soon.

I think the election is the one thing I can forgive a delay in seeing more House for. But it does give us plenty of time to speculate on what's going to happen next :)

Oh I don't think anything's really going to come of this, I don't think House will let it. He knows how screwed up he is and that he'd ruin everything whether he meant to or not. And I can't see him risking the job that defines his very existence. No I'm seeing him either intentionally blowing things up very early on or basically giving her the same brush off he did Stacy.

God I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking that...Though I must say I'm enjoying the new snarkier version of 13.
