I think perhaps the less said about last night's episode of Atlantis the better. However I will post this single question to those who watched the show:

Can you name the original series Star Trek and ST:TNG episodes that this one stole its plot from without so much as a nod to either? Extra credit will be awarded to those who can suggest a way that the serial numbers could have been filed off more elegantly (sorry, moonlightnrain, but you're not eligible to compete).

That's two stinkers back to back, will we get a trifecta next week? Hard to say as it looks like a buddy episode with Ronon and Rodney and the comedy potential should practically write itself. Of course I've been wrong about this sort of thing before...

I haven't even seen an ad for Atlantis, so really have no idea, but I will blindly guess the Packleds episode, because it's one of my favorites. ^_^

The reason I haven't seen much SciFi is that my parents pretty much life with the tv tuned to USA. However, this mans I've been watching a lot of House and Burn Notice, rather unexpectedly. It's been a random collection of eps of both, and I have no idea of where I am in either story, but I'm having fun with it while I'm here. Mmm, Hugh Laurie. I even had a dream about House one night, after which I decided anyone but a cast member (no votes, there) having sex with him is completely unbelievable. o.O

It did make me go back and watch "Mystery" another time or three, though.

Dude the Packleds ep would've at least been a little less cliched than the ones they chose. Ah well.

And you can't have House, he's totally mine, I've got the most raging crush on him right now I can't even tell you. Seriously, I'm assembling a mix for House as we speak. The ep where Wilson kidnapped House's guitar made me nearly weep with laughter. And season 5 starts Tuesday, I'm nearly giddy...

Heh. I've seen bits of House here and there, but this week has been packed with dual-showings or marathons, and well. I'm still behind by three seasons or so (I think they've started from the beginning and I've missed several), but may start watching the new stuff, I dunno.

And all of my crushes live only in my head, never on paper or whatever else, so I'll just tell you that I want nothing to do with him, hm? ^_~ I'd love a copy of that mix, though!

As Izzy's been sick, and my parents haven't been up at GF much, I don't think I'll manage to see it here, even though my brother's interested. Izzy doesn't sleep until 8, my brother goes to bed around 10, it's not really a movie we'd take her to a matinee of...yeah.

If you guys are itching to see it, go ahead and I'll see it eventually, but I'd love to catch it next weekend if possible. Sorry about the crappy timing on this.
