So I'm watching Atonement and liking it all right but I fell madly in love with this dress. Never in my life have I had the body to pull it off, but oh lord is it pretty. The fabric alone is drool-worthy...

If not for the gorgeous cinematography and costumes, I would have given up on ATONEMENT after about twenty minutes from sheer boredom. The plot's about as predictable and cliched as they come ... but damn, is it pretty to look at. My advice? Turn the sound off, put on a good 40s Big Band mix and watch it for the eyecandy.

It was very pretty but yeah, predictable. I did like the scene with the French soldier but the rest left me a little flat.

It was worth seeing and the costumes were quite striking. And I'm looking forward to seeing you this weekend too :D
