I would really, really like Firefox to stop trying to tell me I don't have the latest version of Flash installed and I therefore can't do things like watch YouTube videos because I have downloaded Flash per their request and installed it like 3 friggin' times! Firefox please, please stop being so goddamn retarded as I continue to like you better than Safari and I have lots of my bookmarks on you. Seriously.

Just saw a commercial for a report on BBC America tonight about how an organization that had originally been created to send doctors and medical supplies to set up clinics in third world countries is now doing the same here in the U.S. How absurd is that?

In more cheerful news I just got back from my interview up in San Mateo and I think it went well. That is despite the fact that they threw a surprise test at me. Fortunately I was familiar with the format they wanted thanks to my last job so it wasn't too bad. An hour long interview turned into an hour and a half but I left feeling very positive. Of course this is just the first round of interviews and I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but I think I'll give myself the afternoon off for a job well done and get back to the job hunt madness tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me, folks!

Have you rebooted recently? That's all I got.

Yeah I reboot and FF works fine for a bit then after a few days or so bam it happens again. It is so friggin' annoying.

What's strange is that I'm not having the same problem. I assume we're on the same version of OS X and FF, so I'm curious what the difference is that's causing the issue.

OSX 10.5.2 here, FF 2.0.0.14. I only see that when I have Javascript blocked for a website, although I have given blanket permission for a number of sites, such as youtube.

Quitting FF, waiting for the arrow under its icon (if you have it in the doc) to go *poof*, then restarting it should be as good as a reboot.

Fingers crossed. I think having an interview run a little long is a good thing.
