ebonlockMoving update:
1. Boxes are as unpacked as they're going to get at this point. I have 6 boxes with stuff I don't have any place for at the moment that won't fit into closets. 4 are in the bedroom and completely out of my way. 2 remain in the dining room also completely out of my way. I suspect they may live there for a long while.
2. Splurged and bought myself some strawberries for the garden. I planted them and my chocolate mint, though came to the conclusion that the soil is hard enough that I'm going to need an actual honest to gods shovel to plant anything bigger. Also discovered what I thought was a form of clover is actually Creeping Mint, SCORE!
3. Framed artwork has been placed roughly where I'd like to hang it, alas one fell and shattered spectacularly so I won't be able to hang it until I get a replacement frame. Poo.
Job hunt update:
Had a reasonably good phone interview with a company up in SM and they pinged me today for a face to face next week. It's not my ideal job but money is money at this point and this place is two blocks down from where I last worked so I already know what to expect from the commute. Need to remember to get a new black ink cartridge for my printer so I can print off a couple of copies of my updated resume to take with me just in case this weekend.
