First and foremost I heard back from DeNA last night and they want a face to face interview on Monday! Woo! Fingers crossed that next week I'll be gainfully employed!

Second, by all means check out my sister's NY Comic Con post as it is a hoot. She's posted a ton of pictures, one of my faves has to be my other sis and The Monarch. Her write up on the Venture Brothers presentation made me laugh and laugh:

I have to say I think James Urbaniak, who provides the voice for Dr. Thaddeus Venture (and other characters) was my favorite. He was hilarious, when someone asked him for his best Dr. Venture voiced pick up line he didn't miss a beat "I'm blind, but I can sense you want to f*ck me". We did have the grossly annoying "can I have a hug" question which sadly Mike Sinterniklaas (the voice of Dean Venture) allowed. I liked Doc Hammer's reply "do you want to follow it up with a teary-eyed hand-job?" -- these guys are mean and I love it!

Now while I'm still riding high on a good mood I'm going to contact UPS and find out what the hell is going on with the whole tracer thing and when I get my damn money back.

Awesome news! Hey, if you do apply for the Viz job let me know as I have connections at Diamond and could probably get your resume noticed...

The con was fab! I lament that we could not get an autograph but try as we might we were out-nerded to the finish line!
