Yesterday was a bad day, spent most of it feeling groggy and ill and OMG depressed. I hate the days when I get up feeling like I should've just stayed in bed because it's all pointless anyway and why even bother. The screeching, sawing, hammering and banging just outside my door all day didn't help much either. Just found out the construction apes will be actually painting the buildings next week which means I either have to leave at 8 in the morning or I'll be trapped in my apartment all day.

On the plus side, had dinner with aelfsciene, moonlightnrain, and my beloved jakejr and that helped tremendously.

And it is Ostara and the holiday is all about life and rebirth, so I intend to celebrate it in that spirit. Starting today I'm giving myself a fresh start. I'm going to find a job, dammit. As soon as I do I'm going to buy some new plants for my decimated patio garden and replant the entire thing. In the meantime I'm going to go for a walk, apply to some jobs, clean my apartment and catch up on emails. Tonight a nice ceremony.

If I could just shake this, well sinus infection by the feel of it, I'll be doing pretty damn well.

Oh hell no. This is when you politely but firmly remind them that somebody lives here; you open your door, walk around their scaffolding (trying not to get paint drips on you) and leave.

luckily for them, Cori is really good about coming over and headbutting me out of bed because she wants to be feed NOWRR. Silly slave, get out of bed and FEED ME!!!
