Too weird! Derrick and I just started watching season one of Stargate: Atlantis last week. I'm loving it! About halfway through, I think—the last one was Sheppard and McKay finding that crashed hibernation ship and the redshirt scientist guy bought it. I can't wait for more.
I had a hard time getting past thinking McKay was a giant flaming ass for most of season 1 and 2, and not being able to look at Joe Flannigan without thinking of the hated Alex from "Cupid". But season 3 won me over, and season 4 has me actively fannish over it. Also, my god the incredible slash fic out there for McKay/Sheppard is to die for. Seriously, this genre is just packed full of amazing writers.
Heh, well since you asked, you can start with my in my memories list (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=ebonlock&keyword=sga+fic&filter=all), especially anything by Giddygeek, Toomuchplor, and the amazing Sheafrotherdon. If you don't mind AU's read "A Farm in Iowa" and "Missed the Saturday Dance", without question. I'd also really recommend In the City of Seven Walls (http://www.eternalvox.net/%7Eauburn/citysevenindex.html), and Judas Doesn't Answer (http://www.eternalvox.net/%7Eauburn/judasdoesn%27tanswer.html).
For flat out funny, I'd recommend The Atlantis Local Stitch 'n' Bitch (http://glitterati.illuminatedtext.com/fiction/435.html), Classified, AKA Wanted (http://toomuchplor.livejournal.com/41953.html#cutid1), and Plan C, or How Rodney McKay Lost His Wife and Gained a Galaxy (http://toomuchplor.livejournal.com/63657.html).
If you want hot, hot, hot, I'd point you to How We Operate (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=10913&warning=12), which does include Teyla, but only just, basically it's a team orgy.
