From Animation Magazine Online:

X-Men Invade Xbox and PlayStation 2

Activision and Raven Software have announced the coming of X-Men: Legends for PlayStation2 and Xbox. In this real-time RPG, gamers can create their dream team by assembling and training their chosen X-Men characters. Players will draw from over 15 of the more popular characters from the last 40 years, such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Gambit and Beast. Multiple players will also be able to join forces with the planned four-player co-operative mode.

Of course, the more diverse the squad, the more successful the player will be at fighting the evil enemies featured in the Marvel Universe (we're talking Morlocks, the brotherhood of Mutants and tobotic Sentinels here).

X-Men: Legends is the first game to capture the complete essence of the X-Men by allowing players to control multiple characters that fight together as a team," notes Larry Goldberg, executive VP of Acitivison Worldwide Studios.

X-Men: Legends is due to ship in 2004, but has not yet been rated.

I especially like the fact that it's going to actually be a four-player game. All, hail, that. So many games for those platforms are single player games. There are four controller ports, people! Make 4-player games!

Yay!

(Now, they just need to make it for GameCube so I can play it)

Indeed I do, it doubles as our DVD player most of the time *G* And if you should ever want to come over and play KH you're certainly welcome to. I like watching others play games and I've seen some of this one, it's pretty to look at.

Now I just gotta find somebody to loan me a copy. (:
Maybe we should invite Leigh Ann. I know she likes to watch people play video games. I feel a little guilty that I'm not playing Zelda for her.

Sounds like a plan to me! Of course now that I'm hooked on Golden Sun 2 I might just end up playing my GBA while you two play the PS2 *G*
