If you're caught up on this season's Avatar go read the latest post at Boozebenders for it is made of awesome. I don't agree with every point, especially on "The Headband" but I love reading enthusiastic fan response to one of my favorite series even when we diverge on the fandom path.

Now regarding

Sadness is no Hiro in an episode.

Happiness is the budding hope that Sylar and the Wonder Twins might just take each other out. There are few characters on any show I've ever liked that I actively desire the death of more than these 3. And now they're all in a car together. I suppose it's too much to ask that they might be shot down by border guards as they make a run for it, or get flattened by some hopped up semi- driver on a lonely highway late at night, still it makes for some lovely daydreams. Die all of you, die, die, die!

Also how cute was the Matt/Mohinder lover's spat? They are the cutest gay common law couple on television since Hiro abandoned Ando. And the revelation about Matt's dad is...interesting. If anyone has a screencap of the photo of the 12 I should very much like to see it. The blurry faced guy is especially intriguing to me. I'm sticking with my Kensei theory until I get a better look at him.

The Claire/flying boy thing has already run its course IMHO and frankly it can be over any time now. Then again I've never really found the whole stalking thing an appealing characteristic in a love interest and it saddens me that Claire does. She really is hitting every dumb blonde teenage cliche in the book, isn't she?

Glad Nathan shaved but I continue to just not care about him. His mom going to jail for supposedly killing Kaito was an interesting twist and I love the idea of the two of them having had a flaming affair at some point in time, but goddamn I want to know what (if any) powers she possesses. I hope we get to find out at some point.

Oh, ooh. By "blurry-faced," you mean the guy turned to the side in the photo? Nathan pointed him out as his dad, which would make him (Kensei) Claire's grandad, and they seem to have the same powers. Love that idea! Still want to know what the hell mom does.

So does Bob have powers, too, or was he just masterminding? Now I wish I'd kept the ep on the Tivo, since I'd like to go back and get another look at the picture. I'll probably be capped an online somewhere before long, at least.

I groaned aloud when the car discovered Sylar, which I immediately knew (unhappily) was him. Also dismayed that the ticking clock (teh Evil) has returned; I was almost liking the idea of a Sylar redemption/regret story. Flaming fireball from above, please!

Also, Bennett is losing me with his crazy-go-nuts attitude after seeing the picture. I mean, we've seen that the paintings' future can be subverted (no 'splodey New York), but does he even know for sure it's Claire? Dunno about that particular storyline, I gotta say.

Bennett is definitely being dumb about this, I'd have bloody well shown Claire and said, "Ok honey you know how I've been really paranoid about our safety and all? Well here's a big reason why we need to be care, you and I especially." She's not completely braindead, show her the picture and she'll modify her behavior accordingly. Don't show her the picture and you very much run the risk of turning it into reality.
