So the Sundance channel is quickly becoming my default channel when I just want something to watch and I'm not too picky about it. Today they're doing their weekly "The Green" special and they're showing a documentary on Dr. Bronner which is just fascinating. There is nothing like actually hearing the man doing his "All one!" diatribes in a thick German accent. From now on whenever I read the soap bottles I will hear them in my mind in a German accent.

The fact that the man once escaped from a mental institution really didn't surprise me in the slightest. Nor that he was psychotically anti-Communist and hated him some atheists. Oh and he also thought Mark Spitz was one of God's prophets.

Heh.

As fellow soapmakers, we have a special place in our hearts for dear Dr. Bronner. All-One, indeed! Steve's done extensive research into the good doctor's history and might consider him something of a role model (the guy's famous for his soap, which is one of Steve's life goals).
