Well if you go by Fandango OotP isn't playing around here, but if you check out the SJ Tech Museum IMAX page there it is! Next weekend is [livejournal.com profile] jakejr's move so that's out for me, but the following weekend is all clear as far as I recall. Anybody up for HP really, really big? Comment and we'll carpool :)

Oh, how I wish I could join you. I will, unfortunately, be in freaking North Dakota by then. o.O

If it's still there when you get back I am quite certain my arm could be twisted into seeing it again ;)

OotP in IMAX is a Must See. I seriously can't recall any film performance I've ever enjoyed more. In fact, I've decided that I'm going to put up with the terror that is Seattle driving a second time, because I've got to see it again.

Warning, though. The 20 minutes in 3-D? Not so great. Everyone I've talked to has agreed they would rather have had clarity than the 3-D effect.

To be honest I'm going for one reason, to see Alan Rickman and David Thewlis really, really big. I am a woman of simple tastes. But I do recall that seeing GoF in IMAX was a revelation in terms of the costumes. I mean it was just breathtaking to see all the tiny details you miss in regular run theaters.

I would say that is an excellent reason to go, and I feel much the same way. However, I did notice at one point that I was looking at the individual hairs of Harry's eyebrows.

FYI, Jon said he thinks our Ave Q tix are for next Saturday (I think a Matinee). I'll try to get that nailed down and maybe we can talk more about OotP on Saturday?

Sounds like a plan. Should we be meeting at your place or still at mine on Saturday?

Your place is fine, that'll save you having to load the steam cleaner twice.

By the way, Jon answered our prompt over at jlm.us. :)
