Happy Birthday to Me II: Electric Boogaloo

I came home last night to receive an arm full of boxes from the apartment manager. I guess the post office decided to delivery everything yesterday. My sisters went a little nuts this year (color me shocked < /sarcasm >) but such lovely stuff! I got this lovely resin Nightcrawler in action pose (part of the Dark Phoenix set apparently, so you too can re-enact the XMen having their asses handed to them by Phoenix), some "formal" ninja shoes (for all your upscale ninja-related events), a literal pile o' books including one I'd been intrigued by since I saw it in a proposal we sent out, "Skullduggery Pleasant", and two beautiful cards. Thanks so much for everything!

I'd also like to thank elo_sf for the first edition (signed no less) copy of book 7 of Tales of the City. And yes I promise I'll read the whole series now, starting at the end and working my way back ;)

Also a big thank you to jakejr for the mix. I'm about halfway through it and have decided it's my new political blogging soundtrack. I fear I'm going to hear the righteously indignant scream of "What the fuck, motherfucker? What the fuck were you thinking?" in my head far, far too often. Can't wait to see the liner notes on this one!

Yes! Yes! You've got a copy of WTFMFWTFAYT!!! I have played that song about 30875630845602856 times and each time I can't help but play it a little louder. I was hoping you'd get ahold of a copy! The filmstrip just makes my day each time I play it. (I made co-workers watch it one day.) Jim's Big Ego is wonderful just for making that one song; enjoy it in good health.
