Well not really but it sounded impressive and slightly ominous,
which is precisely how the sky looks right now. I am not yet
enjoying this daylight savings stuff, mostly I think because I have
an extremely sensitive body clock. It woke me up on time this
morning but wasn't very happy about it. I actually considered calling
in just to give myself another day to get everything back online then
thought better of it.

Dance tonight! Una's going to whip us into shape this evening,
though I can already feel the burning of my biceps as we're going
to be doing veil work tonight. Who knew a flimsy little piece of
cloth could give your arms such a workout? The modified Yoga
pose I've been trying out is also helping with the arms and shoulders
which is a good thing. Perhaps by the summer I'll actually have some
kind of muscle definition in my upper body. What a lovely
concept.

This weekend is digging in the dirt with cyranocyrano, Gypsy Baron
with the gang (if mallen got the tickets) and scouting beach party
locations with aelf. I'm going to try to keep the party aspect as
free-style as possible, bring food, bring yourself, bring a bathing
suit and towel and just relax and have fun with some really cool people.
Maybe I'll purchase a kite as well...

And I'm beginning to miss caredhel excessively, I know you're
terribly busy right now and were sick as well, but we must spend
a little time together. If not I shall throw a tantrum and stomp
my feet until you capitulate. And yes I will see you onstage but
it's not quite the same thing, ya know?

It's a Monday and already I'm dreaming of the weekend, *sigh*

You know the "Snake" position? It's a variant on that. You get on your hands and knees, though, line up your body so you're nice and straight, and make sure your hands are directly below your shoulders. Then you do the same pelvis curl that we do for dancing, straighten your spine, and then both legs out behind you. You're then balanced on hands and toes looking down, but head still in line with the spine. You should feel it in your arms, shoulders, abdomen and legs. Hold for about 15-20 seconds to start and work your way up from there.

Thank you for the description!

A couple more details: Do you keep your arms bent when you straighten your spine and legs? Do you look down, straight forward, or up?

Arms are straight on that one the entire time
and you're supposed to look down, so no strain on
the neck there either.
