Well I killed my first flea last night which means it's time to head to the pet store for Frontline and flea collars. Given the amount of local wildlife that now considers my patio their local diner, and how often Pye rolls around in the dirt I cannot say that this comes as a shock to me. Best to nip it in the bud now before it becomes a major issue.

I'm trying to figure out something to do with the big open patch of dirt, charcoal and wood chips that has become Pye's wallow. Maybe if I covered the area in peat moss that might be at least a little less messy. Hmm, if I can borrow my camera back from Aelf briefly I'll take pictures of the area and see if anyone has any advice.

The rest of my garden is growing like crazy. I splurged this weekend and bought myself an Arabian Jasmine and it seems to be settling in nicely. I want to get one more planter box to help block off the one end of my fence that Pye uses as his escape tunnel. Not sure what I'm going to put in it, though. Part of me is tempted to get another Jasmine but the other part wants something different. Yeah, I'm a Gemini...

Anyway, I'll attempt to take pics and post 'em in the not too distant future. Although this weekend is probably no good for that as Friday and Saturday is the great moonlightnrain move and I expect to be flattened by the end of it. If you have some extra time on your hands either of those days and would like to help out we could still use you. Don't be shy :)

Why not get another Jasmine and then use them as bookends for the something different?

Possibly but I've already got Star Jasmine and now Arabian Jasmine so I'm not sure I can justify another one. I was actually oggling some blueberries at the nursery on Sunday so that's a possibility.
