Look, I hate to pick on another discipline's credentialing mechanisms and all, but when I read Althouse or Reynolds or Powerline I'm inclined to believe that you can get a law degree in this country by mailing $50,000 and two proof-of-purchase seals from packages of Froot Loops to General Diploma Mills, Battle Creek, Michigan.

Completely unrelated to the topic at hand I think I've decided to see Ghost Rider. Not because I think it'll be good, far from it, but because Nick Cage looks like he's having so damn much fun with the part. If you want to go together, lemme know ;)

I was getting the "you look like Nic Cage" thing as early as Vanderbilt, and I took great exception to it, because all I'd ever seen him in was Raising Arizona which is terribly funny but not much of a role model.

Now I just think that any movie where somebody who looks like Nic Cage, and whose skull bursts into flames, is just a documentary about me at work...and yeah, I'm game, let's round up the usual suspects.
