Keith Olbermann on the subject of sacrifice:

If in your presence an individual tried to sacrifice an American serviceman or woman, would you intervene?

Would you at least protest?

What if he had already sacrificed 3,003 of them?

The American people tell our government to get out, and guess what? They don't listen.

So now that we know niether the Democrats or Republicans are going to obey the will of the people. They are just going to ignore the central messege of last November.

What do we do now?

I stopped reading the news a few months ago because it just upsets me, but I can take small doses like this one.

Erik and I have both talked about how 9-11 has made Americans the criminal terrorists instead of the people who came here and committed the actual attack.

As I said to another LJ friend, I think the American people are going to be much angrier at the end of 2007, when they realize our government has no intention of bowing to the will of the people.
