Ok I'm only a few minutes in but I have a new favorite BSG episode...holy god...I, uh, I think I'm glad I'm watching this one alone.

OMG the sexual tension...Kara and Lee, Bill and Laura...half naked sweaty Lee/Kara beating the snot out of each other. Hey, if you can't frak it, punch it I guess. The cable's being a bit hinky so my copy's not clean, but not even that can bother me now. And the fight music rocks so very, very much.

Damn Kara was cold to the former Mr. Thrace, but I got a nasty little thrill out of it.

Starbuck putting Hot Dog down just now was a beautiful thing. Poetry, man.

Ok the stuff on New Caprica with Bill and Laura was so frakkin' cute, OMG. Laura all but invited him to come live with her in her little cabin in the woods. My inner Bill/Laura 'shipper just went "SQUEE!"

Bill putting Tyrol on the mat was also a thing of beauty. I loves me some Chief, but he totally had that comin'.

Starbuck drank her hubby under the table...aw yeah. Lee's shitfaced and Kara's got that smirk on her face...AW YEAH!

Wow, Tyrol put the Admiral down and Laura gets in the ring to give him some damn good advice, she rocks so very much. She stands by her man fiercely, I love her so! There's a reason Adama is the Admiral, and he stands there telling the crew that he's blaming himself for having been too easy on them with New Caprica, letting them go before the fight was through. "That can't happen again." Tyrol gets the hint and orders his men back to work. Laura escorts the wounded Bill away and all I can think is hurt/comfort!

Oh but Kara ain't done yet and manages to push Lee as only she can into fighting. Who will win? I suspect they're both gonna' lose somehow...

Back on New Caprica Lee and Kara dance around each other as much as they do in the boxing ring during the present day. It took Anders too long to figure out what was going on, but Dee's known all along, hasn't she? So Kara and Lee had sex under the stars while both with another...Kara on top, just as it should be. "Well that makes things more complicated." Oh now there's an understatement. Lee, of course, wants to do the honorable thing and tell Dee and Sam. "My name is Lee Adama and I love Kara Thrace!" "Kara Thrace loves Lee Adama!" I just had one dream come true on the series... Now if she can just kick Lee's ass that'll be number two. And with those kicks she looks to be well on her way.

Oh damn she left him out all alone the next morning? Didn't even stick around for cuddling...then she goes off and marries Anders? If I were Lee I'd be ready to kill her too. I love how he actually looks physically ill when he hears the news. My god he's utterly devastated, I mean just broken. The fight breaks down too, turning ugly and violent and vicious, all they want to do is hurt each other. In the end they're staggering and clinging to one another, half dead but neither willing to admit defeat even if it kills them. Especially if it kills them. The embrace in the ring becomes the embrace when Kara returned from Caprica. They stand there bloody and beaten and barely upright and whisper, "I've missed you" and "I've missed you too" and Kara smiles. Lee's still hers.

OK, no doubt about it best episode of the season to date, they're going to have to work pretty damn hard to top this one.

My only thought here is that she felt she was "saving" him by marrying Anders. That he'd stop loving her, move on and be better off without her. It seems perfectly in keeping with her past actions and overall personality. She sees herself as the ultimate fuck-up and if she really did love him...

Anyway, the cable has completely frakked up during the scenes for next week so I have no idea what's going on save that rations are low and Kara seemed to be flying somewhere for some reason.

And then it's the SG-1 episode with some Daniel torture (yeah, which one, I know) but oh he's so pretty when he's all banged up. Yeah, definitely for the best that I'm on my own.
