Sorry, no time to post earlier, busy weekend and busy Monday to boot. Currently I'm watching Errol Flynn buckle some swash in The Sea Hawk and giving myself leave to update before I get back to tidying up for my sisters' arrival tomorrow. Luckily, as it'll be July 4th and they'll be arriving after noon I can afford to be a bit leisurely about my preparations.

Good thing too as something I ate yesterday made me a very unhappy camper today. Along the lines of, "Oh sweet, merciful gods just let me die before my intestines explode!" Yikes. Whatever it was I vow to never touch the stuff ever again in this lifetime. Nothing is worth that kind of pain.

But, on a lighter note, Friday evening was lovely, as we had our first Dr. Who and a Nice Cup of Tea night, watching "Robots of Death" and sharing a variety of different teas we'd all brought along to share. Saturday was dancing in the morning and a nice, quiet, relaxing evening for me. And Sunday, of course, was the absolutely gorgeous wedding of [livejournal.com profile] wildpaletz and [livejournal.com profile] senatorhatty. There just couldn't have been a prettier day or setting, and everyone agreed the bride's gown was the most beautiful they'd ever seen.

I'd have to say, though I am biased, that "Cylon-Occupied (and Radioactive!) Caprica" was the true party table, though I still insist that I was wrongly accused of being the obligatory cylon simply by virtue of my hair color. Totally unfair.

Is Dr. Who and a Nice Cup of Tea going to be a regular thing?!? I hope so, it was truly lovely.

If The Sea Hawk is on Dumbledore, is there any chance you could dump that to DVD for me?

I think it's certainly something we should consider, though I don't have that many more episodes. Maybe I could borrow [livejournal.com profile] tamago's copy of "The Key to Time" series.

Er, well if I can retrieve it from the recently deleted folder I can. Sorry, I've been somewhat ruthless about deleting stuff.

I think we might be able to drum a few more up somewhere. :) In fact, I have Jon checking to see if he has his circa 1989 VHS copies in the house.

Ach, this reminds me, I want to borrow your WotW DVDs! :)

No need to apologize, that simply means you've embraced the Tivo lifestyle. If it's not there, I will live to see it another day.

Sorry, Sea Hawk seems to be gone :( However I just got the superb Frontline that aired recently, you should definitely see it. And maybe we could do a WotW-a-thon at some point in the not too distant future?

Oh, PLEASE, let's do a WotW-a-thon! The only thing better than watching old WotW eps, would be watching them with someone who appreciates them as much as I do. :) And, well, that means you.

And now that I think of it, the Recently Deleted Folder only contains things the Tivo deleted on its own, not things the owner deletes.

I'm watching a Rat Pack DVD that Jon owns right now that you might enjoy. Songs and jokes from a closed-circuit televised benefit they did in the early 60s with an impossibly young Johnny Carson standing in for an ill Joey Bishop. :)

I second the call for a WotW-a-thon, since I've heard so very much about the series, but have yet to see a drop of it.

I think we have a consensus then, of course this'll probably have to wait until August at the earliest to do this as July is just way too crazy.

Amd when do we get to see pictures of the wedding? You did take pictures, right?

I didn't have my camera, but I'm sure some others' photos will be posted soon. And I asked Leah to take a picture of the Luke pic for you yesterday :)
