Too hot to sleep, so I'm up ridiculously early to journal and watch The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Does that make me more of a geekish wonk or a wonkish geek?

I'm way too amused watching Stephen dismantle Bay Buchanan at 8 a.m. He just repeated his moat with fire and fire-proof crocodiles idea and Buchanan smiled rather stiffly then launched right back into her crazy 2,000 mile fence between the US and Mexico idea. She just claimed that she and her brother Pat won the election for George Bush, though now she's savaging him 'cause he's not tough enough on immigration.

If Stephen comments about Congress not raising the minimum wage I'm going to fall down and worship him.

Ok he didn't say that, but did refer to Pat Buchanan "batshit crazy" so that's good enough :)

Right, I should really get to work now.

Woah, you mean the city council actually thwarted Pyramid? I think that's a first. But it's nice to see that some sanity still exists around there.
